Neo3D Question
David, while I realize there is more on your plate than I can even imagine...
We are deep in preparation for a stereo documentary that is single camera with a mirror box. Shooting 4K (2:1) .r3d gives us two side-by-side 2K X 2K images. We then crop the vertical to whatever aspect ratio we desire. Our results thus far are very good. My question is: Is it conceivable to split the single image in Neo3D (ala Stereoscopic Viewer) in such a way as to apply metadata changes and be able to utilize all of those mouth-watering Neo3D advantages (Convergence control, Stereo color adjustment and Independent eye color adjustments)? Seems it can't hurt to ask. Many many thanks, David |
David, this is doable, but some engineering work is required. Perhaps we should take this offline. dtaylor at cineform dot com.
