Film Scan Modes: why there in Vegas 8.1, not in 8.0(c)?

From Vegas 8.1 (64 bit), I can render out to CF Low HD, Medium HD, High HD, Higher HD, Film Scan 1, and Film Scan 2. The available CF codec indicates that it's x64 Codec Version 5.2.4, not surprisingly.

However, in Vegas 8.0(c) (32 bit), I get only Low, Medium, and High as my choices, but not either Film Scan mode. Why? Aren't the FilmScan modes available for the 32 bit codec?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I searched and couldn't find an answer.

Thanks,
Steve

Sound like a bug, but it depends on the software you have licensed. Neo Scene is only supposed to offer up to High, Neo HD and above offer the Filmscan modes. Which you using so we know what to fix?

Hi David, I installed NeoScene on Vista 64bit Ultimate. From what you say, I shouldn't see Film Scan modes, but yet there they are only in Vegas 8.1 (64 bit). Is my ability to use FilmScan in Vegas 8.1 a bug, or is my inability to use FilmScan in Vegas 8.0(c) a bug? Let me know if I need to provide more info.

Steve

It is a bug the x64 component offer more features that you have licensed. Filmscan is generally overkill for Neo Scene, and therefore wasn't supposed to be included.
