CF playback player ??

Whats everyone using for a playback player... I used to use media player classic but its
not working and neither is VLC....

VLC has never played CFHD files, at least for me. It only uses its own built-in codecs. MPC works flawlessly with CFHD (I'm using the Home Cinema version 1.2.908.0), as does the free Apple QT Player. Windows Media Player also plays CFHD files, but some people claim that the playback is stuttery (not me).

Ray, what version of MPC are you using? Are you using version 6.4.9.1 and tried setting the options?

MPC works pretty nicely for us.

first go to "View" > Options > Player (on left menu) > Formats and then check which formats are selected in the setting there. That's probably the most relevant one for playback.

You can check Playback settings too, as it controls Output and could be on something wrong. Should play no prob if settings are correct.

Thanks Steve... after setting up the settings it plays fine... not sure why they were not set as I've used MPC for years... anyway its working again... thanks again

Mine did the same thing, not sure why either. But it's also back to "normal" now, so I'm glad my pain was your gain!
