r2cf audio sync problem

I'm trying to covert Red 4KHD .R3D files to CFHD. I'm using the Batch to 1920×1080 HD 422 script. The audio in the resulting CFHD files start in sync, but by the end of the clip the audio is way off, in a 4 minute clip the audio is early by approx. 1 or 2 seconds.
This is not a playback problem, I can see the offset in the audio waveform.
If anyone has any ideas, I have hundreds of clips to convert by early next week....
thanks,
Jeff

i have issues as well with cineform audio from red....

i usually end up using the original r3d audio file.

you CANNOT trust the waveforms zoomed all the way in....thats what i learned.

try a little test for me see if you have the same issue.

1. take just the origional r3d and put it in the timeline
2. put the converted cineform avi in a timeline....
3. Try lining the audio up by waveforms....
you can line them up from a zoomed out view...but when you zoom in you'll notice it's out of sync...and if you sync the waveforms in the fully zoomed in view you'll notice when you zoom out they are way out of sync.

the waveforms on the cineform audio clips seem to be wrong when zoomed in to the highest 2-3 levels...also there is extreme stuttering in the audio clips..to the point where I have to use the origional r3d audio...

I was about to file a support ticket on this, and i still will....but try this out for me and see what happens
it is only on cineform files for me...

Our R3D clips are not doing this, so it could be a failure with a particular firmware. Upload a R3D that doesn't convert the audio correctly to ftp.cineform.com and tell support.
