The black is a different error, it related to Win7 patching a loophole we used -- so we will need to work round that.

Ditto here. Cured the playback/red upside downers. Couldn't get the system to register with the direct command, but just "re-registered all components" and it worked fine.

Good news, especially as I had just shown some video to some clients and was not very happy to have it preview in red-upside down!

Glad you've got a lead on it now and seems to be almost fixed totally.

Next build fixes the red gaps also.

Confirmed here too - the direct regsvr32 command worked fine and upsidedown playback is now gone. wOOt!

(Perfect timing - I just put CS3 on a laptop that's too puny to play well with CS4!).

Thanks!

I have just updated with Prospect HD 4.3 and find playback still has red rather than black playing in gaps on the timeline with the Win 7 + CS3 set-up.

Being fussy - I know ultimate output is not impacted - I keep putting black video on the timeline to eliminate having to see this! But is there anything planned in the pipeline which will sort this issue?

i got the same issue with a fresh install of Win 7 64bits, CS3 + prospect v4.3b240
the red color was appearing during the transition "fade to black" (with a cineform dissolve or native Premiere pro).

uninstall prospect HD, install Aspect HD -> no red color
uninstall Aspect HD, install Prospect HD again : no red color, pb is gone !

if it can help.
