First Light MXF import

Hi there everyone ... is there any possibility of importing mxf files into FirstLight - or there will be any in the near future ?
I suspect there is a possibility offered by hdlink to convert the mxf to avi - but i was wondering if i can apply the white balance without the need of conversion ...

First Light is color correction and image manipulation database tool, that only works on CineForm files, as only the CineForm decoder has a database driven image development engine. It is not a color tool like Colorista or Magic Bullet Looks, which does work on multiple file types, but also requires a render to keep the "look". The renderless CC is unique to CineForm. So there is no way to support any other format in First Light.
