Neoscene 5D2 Ingest withOUT 29.97 Correction?

I've been toying with the idea of buying NeoScene again, so I downloaded the trial and have been using it with Vegas 8 over the past few days. But I ran into a snag I think.

Is there was way to have NeoScene NOT convert 5D2 footage to 29.97?

I ask because I do a fair amount of online-only live music multimedia where I sync 5D2 footage to externally-recorded sync sound. The change to the audio from NeoScene causes me drift issues, and because I'm working online only anyway, true 30.00p doesn't really cause any issues for me on most projects.

Anyway, can that be turned off?

I guess I could scale down my sync sound too, but that kind of seems a bit strange to me. Hopefully, this whole problem goes away with the next 5D2 firmware, but until then, I was curious about this?

Contact support, I think there is a registry control for that feature.

Hi David!
I'm currently facing the same problem as Bill. I'm working on a show with large amounts of 5D/7D video and externally recorded audio.. syncing/stretching the audio would be a real nightmare.
Any chance of making the option or registry control "public" here?
I don't see any point in it having to be "secret".

Thanks a bunch!!!

It is not secret, just don't know what it is, ask support and post it here.

thank goodness. This has been creating all sorts of problems for me ever since this feature was added back in the summer.
