Cineform, Scratch, and the Final Cut gamma shift

I'm new to this forum, so hello to everyone first : ).

I am an Assimilate Scratch user, that processes dailies for Final Cut editing, and I am trying to find a solution for our Cineform users. Currently we are having an issue where, when we output the cineform clips from Scratch and import them to FCP, they work well while playing back, but when they are sitting on a still frame, there is a gamma shift that makes the still frame look darker.

I have tried to fix this by using several different versions of FCP, as well as upgrading to Snow Leopard. The workflow on Cineform's website suggests that NeoHD should be truly cross-platform, but we are unable to get it to render to ProRes in the timeline, without taking the gamma shift with it. In other words, when playing clips in a cineform native timeline, the clips look good, but if you change the sequence settings to ProRes, or any other codec for that matter, the clips look darker than normal.

I am aware of the control panel settings, which are able to change the gamma settings, but this has not helped. We would love to avoid having to transcode everything twice.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Send you question to support as well, however gamma issues are a know QT/FCP bug, but we have worked around places it shows. but there place that is occurs with ProRES as well not it is not a codec issue. Use an AJA card for playback, that way the color is always accurate.
