Colaberative Editing Between Macs and PC's

I just upgraded to NeoHD from NeoScene. I need to handle video from my EX1R and First Light is also very appealing.

I may need to do some collaborative editing with someone who uses FCP on a Mac. (I use Vegas Pro on a PC) Aside from the necessity that the person with the Mac also needs to have Cineform, are there any pitfalls or problems to watch out for? For example, Cineform files are put into an .avi file structure on a PC. Are they put into a .mov file structure on a MAC. Is there a way to transfer Cineform files between a PC and a MAC without rewrapping them?

Jim, CineForm AVI files are read properly and edited in FCP on Mac no problem. One item to be aware of is that the Mac always interprets AVI files as if they were 8 bits in depth instead of 10. To retain maximum precision for online workflows you can rewrap. But otherwise AVI files work fine. You can also share First Light projects by using DropBox. Here is the tutorial for how to set this up on Windows:
