First Light: improved workflow for grading a clip with multiple shots (ie. music vid

2 Scenarios:

(1) Digitizing a tape that has multiple scenes on it (over 50 different shots) each shot needs to be graded individually:

Is there a way to break up the file easily to grade shot by shot within FL?
Currently I'm doing it by creating two back to back keyframes at the beginning of each shot to lock the grade from animating.

(2) Music Video edited in FCP:
I have the FCP project file, XML and EDL.
Also have the After Effects project file.
And the Rendered final movie with all the cuts.
109 cuts in the rendered video.

Is there anyway possible to reference the cuts in FCP/AE and drop keyframes into the master file in FL?
My other thought was to export each clip individually and grade them all one clip at a time. (there is not batch export feature avail. in FCP. In AE, each clip has to be in its own composition, which is a very time consuming task to cut each shot up and put it into their own comps to be re-rendered.

Thoughts for improving this workflow?
