Will Cineform ever support multi-cam editing?

I have owned Cineform products since my original purchase of Aspect HD and it has never supported multi-cam editing. I love Cineform, and pursued this feature to be enabled for a couple years. Sometimes it was said that acceleration was planned, but I don't see that it has ever been completed. I don't regret my purchase at all, but I am wondering if there is any possibility we will ever see this in Prospect HD.

As most of my shoots are long events & lectures, and most involve at least 2 cameras. It would be great if I could use the multi-cam feature of Premiere, but considering my footage is Cineform High Quality my system usually slows to a crawl and the feature is completely unusable. Is this the case for everyone? Are not a lot of people using Cineform w/ the multi-cam feature in Premiere Pro?

Prospect HD is discountinued, that asside, the Premiere SDK doesn't support acceleration of the multicam. As we do support multi-res decoding it works pretty well in CS5.

My bad. I meant to say Prospect 4K, I've been confused by my own upgrade path. That's too bad it is an SDK restriction. Hopefully my performance will improve next time I upgrade my computer hardware.

Thank you for the information, David.
