Parallax Filter Question

I'm using Premiere Pro 5.03.

When I preview in red/cyan mode a title with the parallax filter applied to it, I don't get the desired results. It appears as though the RED channel offset is the wrong RED, either too bright or too much gamma, anyway the result is a black effect where the red channel offset should be. The cyan channel seems fine.

The latest beta seems fine, but my FirstLight thumbnail on the taskbar has become a "windows default" thumbnail.

Any tips on how to overcome the parallax issue is appreciated. Works fine in sbs, but would just be nice to have it working correctly in red/cyan mode.
