Neoscene + vegas 10 render settings

Hi, I have neoscene 5 and vegas 10. I can't render the timeline because vegas tells me that the codec doesn't support the render settings.
Don't tell me to reinstall the software because I've done it.
Any suggestion?
Thank you!

NeoScene is licensed for 4:2:2 HD 1920x1080 encodes (or smaller). Does that match your render settings?

yes it matches because these are cineform clips shot with a 7d camera.

Hi David,

I think there is a bug either with Sony Vegas 10 or Neoscene.
I been testing the Neoscene this morning and strange thing happened once I rendered.

Project property 1440x1080 60i
Cineform Neoscene: Encoded format YUV 4:2:2
Encoded Quality High

No problem there and vegas rendered the file just fine. However; when I rendered it to RGB 4:4:4 or RGBA:4:4:4:4 sometimes I get a bar across reading License Error and sometimes I don't get the bar at all.

Please advise.

Thanks
Matthew

Marco,

Unsure what is happen there. Please file a ticket Support Center

Matthew,

That is clearly a Sony bug. Please report to them that the user settings for encoding are not sticking. Another reported this today, that setting the encode mode before each render is a work-around.
