Re: Neoscene 1080i to 720p
I'll tell you why I ask the above question. I never tried the Neoscene trial. I instead tried HDlink, because it was recommended by a Vegas user as the solution for me.
The trial expired, but somewhere got the idea that Neoscene would do what I needed, to convert 1080i to 720p. So I wrote Cineform, and in the most specific way possible I outlined my exact intended workflow: I'd be using two camera shooting in 720p, and one shooting 1080i. I would want, I said, to convert the 1080i to 720p to match the other two cameras. I reviewed the emails mentioned above, and yes, I explained this in exacting detail, and was told yes this "was the way to go". So I'm sure I am missing something in the settings, or I misread the replies, or the replies were in error. Thoughts anyone? |

Yes, I was misinformed by Cineform sales. Neoscene does not scale. That was my primary purpose in purchasing how unfortunate, and what a complete waste of a day and money.
