3D HD. MVC results and comments

I noticed the press release on my GoPro email, then read the stuff on the Cineform pages.
As I’ve been frustratingly working through variations of 3D encoding in order to get the best results from my separate stream 1920x1080 59.94P originals .. I’ve come across some idiosyncrasies.
1. Utilising Firstlight, Neo3D and encoding from a dual 28mb/s .avchd 59.94 P 1920x1080 source material combined in Vegas 10e .. rendered to Cineform codec at 59.94P ... playing on the NVIDIA PC player with NVIDIA specs on my ASUS laptop 3D screen – WONDERFUL, EXCELLENT - WOW!!
2. Same process as above, choose disable resample and 0.4 sample rate to work with MVC 1920x1080 at 23.976P rendered to Sony’s codec AVC/MVC ... playing on Cyberlink Power DVD 11 on ASUS laptop 3D Screen with NVIDIA specs ... AWFUL – main problems are loss of stereo authenticity, and the odd cardboard cutout effect of large areas, mainly confused by colour area or luminance area. This appears to be quite a poor result.
3. Same process as 1, disable resample and choose 0.4 again, BUT – render from the timeline in Vegas 10e to an MVC 1920x1080 23.976P BluRay ISO image and burn to disk using the Tools - Burn Disc - BluRay .... STUNNING when viewed on a live 3D player through a Panasonic Viera VT30 Plasma.
The Panasonic Viera uses 3 x repetition I think in order to de-flicker the 23.976P quite effectively. It would be far better that we had a full HD version of the codec working at 59.94P?

Not sure how many variables I can throw into the mix – BUT – if you are considering an MVC type encoder – these issues would be relevant. The other relevant thing – I suspect that there will be another standard launched when the 100/120GB BluRays gain market position. I would hope that we could see a 59.94 P 1920x1080 version of MVC. Stereo imagery is SO much better at 59.94P – especially on action ... but the 1280x720 codec leaves a lot to be desired in terms of sharpness and detail.
Methinks the MVC route is a bodge – but I’m expecting you guys to improve on that ???
