Reccomended "Medium" instead of "Large"
 

I'm curious why Aspect's software suggests Medium file sizes instead of large? Wouldn't that be lower quality?

Well I am very un-american; Australian actually, however the rest of CineForm are US locals. :)

Medium is very very good quality, we just though we can save on some disk space. Large is cool too.

Further questions for David and those who have more experience:
1) Are there visible differences between large and medium?
2) Are there certain situations where large will make more artifacting visible?
3) Anyone else using medium instead of large (or vice versa) what are your thoughts.

1) There are no visible differences, however Large is a little better for multi-generation work and keying.

2) I would use large on green screened projects.

3) All Vegas users with the shipped verstion of CineForm Intermediate are using the medium (we there is no choice offered.) Adobe Premiere users not running Aspect HD are running a really old very of Medium (Medium has got even better quality over time.)
