Exporting and getting green video

This doesn't normally happen, but today while editing a piece of HDV previously captured w/ just the free premiere HDV plugin, in premiere pro w/ aspect 3.2, while exporting I get a green screen. I tried exporting in different qualities, but still the same thing. The only thing I notice, is that when I export , and check the properties of the exported file, I says that it is 24 bit video, whereas the original footage is 32 bit.

side note

On a side note, i just applied the effect "noise reduction" and it exported fine. However, when I take off noise redution, once again, it renders a green screen

First it is a good idea to get the latest version. Aspect HD 3.4 is now available. If the trouble continues after that then contact tech support by filing a trouble ticket at www.cineform.com/support.

Confirmed, I also had some green video using fade dissolves.
After updating to 3.4 it's gone. Great to have this forum available!

Anton Galimzyanov January 20th, 2006 10:40 AM

Marc, what is your current build?
I have 43, and still green video (instead of black!) using fade dissolves remains.

David, will it be fixed in 4.0 release?

David Newman January 20th, 2006 12:48 PM

It is fixed in 3.4 build 45 and in the Aspect HD 4.0.

Michael Stewart January 20th, 2006 01:54 PM

Anton, is it a fade to black?

Mike

Anton Galimzyanov January 20th, 2006 02:42 PM

yeah, a simple fade from- or to- black (using keyframes) turns to "fade to green" :-)

I'm keep waiting for 4.0 update

David Newman January 20th, 2006 02:47 PM

Why wait, Aspect HD 3.4 build 45 is freely available, and it fixes this bug. Of course 4.0 should get posted sometime today.

Michael Stewart January 20th, 2006 04:43 PM

Anton, try taking a black video track and crossfade or put underneath your video track when dipping to black to see if that works.

Am I not here? :) This is all fixed, please download the latest build 45 of Aspect HD 3.4.

Michael Stewart January 20th, 2006 07:26 PM

David, your always there for us :) I was not aware that it was fixed on this build, I thought that maybe it was the same issue as mine, but in your post to me you said "nice catch" I'll add it to the bug list, was not aware that you fixed that problem, we know you guys are on top of everything:)

Cheers
Mike
