Cineform 4 cross-dissolves affects entire reqion

Let me explain. I've demoed v4 in PPro 1.5. I had a small project for a meeting opener to be used in power-point. Just titles, moving text and upper/lower third borders in red.

I created a 720p CFHD project. Red borders were created with the title tool. I then added a few layers of alternating text with CFHD cross-dissolves. Ordinarily, the cross-dissolves should only affect (i.e. dissolve) the clips that they are applied too. However, I get a slight flicker/dimming over the entire region of the frame. That is, the red borders slightly dim and turn orange during the transition of the text. (This was also apparent on the timeline when editing).

Opening the project in VFW mode, using windows media 9 cbr and vbr, renders out correctly.

Unfortunately the demo has expired. So I am left with the impression that v4 needs work, or wondering if the issue exists in PPro 2. Anyone else seen this sort of problem?

A little more info:

The problem happens when rendered using the "CineForm HD Decoder-2" codec, when rendered as cineform HD export -high quality. However, look fine when using the cineform HDV AVI export.

Peter,

that seems like an color space issue. If you are using an HD100U you need to make sure the 709 color space is set. If you are using an older HD1 or HD10 JVC camera, those camera use a 601 color space (turn 709 off.) The red to orange shift is a good indicator than you are running in the wrong color space.

When you use the older "HDV AVI export" you don't get any YUV rendering and you have no colorspace controls (so the HD100U is not supported with the free Premiere components.)
