Conversion problem build 71 M2T to AVI
 

Hi David,

I edited this message which started as a problem converting any M2T file to something else in HDlink.
When I clicked Start convert I got the error in logging:
Error: CreateAndAddFilter(sourceld, L"Source", &source)(0x80040154 - Class not Registered) in (ConvertGraph.cpp at 755)
The m2t files played fine both in VLC and DV Rack 2.0.
I was wondering why version 71 stopped working with m2t files which is the basic format of HDlink.
The only software update I have done recently is the package: DV Rack HD 2.0 update. It seems to screw the m2t configuration of the HDlink software. I re-installed the AspectHD, and it works again.

That error message just mean you have a component not registered. This is solved by either manually registering it, or re-installing Aspect HD (which sounds like it worked for you.)
