does card reader speed while transfer matter?

Hi
I am shooting 220mbps I -frame on extremeIII sandisk cards in nanoflash. The camera is PMW EX3.Unfortunately my fiwire800 card reader is not working and I am forced to transfer the footage via the supplied simple usb card reader.Do you think I will loose the resolution in transfer.

No, you won't lose anything during the transfer. It'll just take a little longer that's all.
