XDR/Nanoflash & Media 100

I'm aware you are testing with a number of NLEs. Are you, or would you consider testing with Media 100? I know there are many users of Media 100 who would benefit from direct file support, rather than having to digitise in real time via the SDI playout route.

Dear Chris,

Does the Media 100 support either Quicktime or MXF with a 4:2:2 HL 50 Mbps or above codec?

In other words, does it support XDCam 4:2:2 HL 50 Mbps footage?

No Dan, It does not. Perhaps I should contact Media 100 & prompt them to add the required codec.

Dear Chris,

Once the codec is available we should work with the Media 100.

I hope the add it soon. It is reasonable for vendors to support to Sony PDW-700 camera.

Thanks Chris & Dan,

That would be great as I have the EX3 camera and I have been using M100 since V2 and work on Version 13. I have 1 nanoflash on order (with initial deposit paid).

If you need any assistance, I would be glad to offer my help in any way.

It is great to see how much thought, effort and work you at CD are putting into the nanoflash. Sounds very exciting.

Best wishes

Dear David,

Thanks.

We are still cranking away on the MXF.

We have Sony and Avid engineers working on the issue, as well as our own. We are getting great support from the companies.
