any plans for an entry level model?

are there any plans for a cheaper entry level model with limited functionality?

Ron,

I think you know the answer to this before posting.

Think about it. You are wanting a cheap alternative to a high-end, high bitrate SDI recording device for HD.

The $3,000 Nano is entry level for its peer group!

well still, if they can create a lower model with dumbed down features why not.. it will open up their market to a new and probably larger demographic of buyers.

Dear Friends,

We have tried to price the nanoFlash very agressively to open our technology to the widest possible audience.

We introduced this at NAB at $3,999 (US).

Then we added more features and reduced the price to $2,995.

We also have some more surprises coming up!

More free firmware upgrades for the Flash XDR and nanoFlash will be announced within 30 days.

This is one of the sweetest deals for this type of recorder. If you need it for work ... invest. That's what most of us are doing.
