Thanks Rafael and Tim.

Just made a modification on the rig this a.m. that makes it even better: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/1404810-post48.html

...Hi Barry. Wow ! What a great rig. The remote control record, zoom, last clip recorded control is fascinating. Did you have to perform a custom wiring job on the Manfroto setup to allow it to also control the Nano ? I have the Flash XDR, and I'm wondering how my unit could be mounted to the spider and remotely controlled to give me last clip recorded ?

I just used the stock Manfroto remote. The Nano is controlled by a change in the embedded time code from the HD-SDI output from the camera. When I review a shot, I am reviewing what is on the SxS cards - one glitch - the Nano records when it sees a change in the timecode again ( and records the reviewed clip again) but no big deal. Shape-WLB is located in your city. They do custom work and mounts - give Charles-Antoine at contact@shapewol.com a shout. I'm sure he would discuss it with you - they are very accomodating.
