V1 with Nanoflash?

I want to use my HVR V1 camera with the Nanoflash recorder. The possibility of 4:2:2 8 bit recording via HDMI would seriously extend the capability of the camera. I need to know that the output of the 1/4" CMOS chips will make it a viable combination. Can anyone advise?

Do it. Then tell me about it. I have two V1s and I am thinking about the same thing.

Dear Ralph and Ron,

We have a customer that is using a nanoFlash with the Sony V1u.

It is working well for her.
