Nano and Cineform
Hey guys - after sitting on the fence for months I finally bought into the Nanoflash. My background is in capturing HDMI to Cineform but using a laptop had it's disadvantages so Nanoflash won in the end.First light - the grading tool for cineform files makes the codec the best codec all round to edit in in my humble opinion but using the Nanoflash to acquire is just magic. I have heard there were compatibility issues a while back - how far are we in resolving the conversion of the Nanoflash mxfs to Cineform avis in HDlink? This is really crucial to my workflow.
Best wishes. |
If you haven't already, I'd recommend asking about this in the CineForm forum. (As long as the site doesn't view it as a double post...).
I would think that CineForm would need to read the Nano files (Non-XDcam MPEG) vs. Convergent Design changing what they would 'write' as files to make this happen... I am a CineForm fan/user as well as a Nano user and I haven't really tried a conversion on the PC recently. I'd love to know the answer myself... |
