Aperture

When laying a clip of the NANO on top of one from the EX-1 (in FC), the picture don't fully match.
This is due to the different "Aperture" of the QT files.
The NANO files comes with the Aperture not set (I guess the default "Classic"), while the EX files comes with "Production".
Could be this changed for the next Firmware release?
Best,
Rafael

Rafael,

Could you send a link to a short clip of your video to CDsupport at convergent-design.com? Our EX-1 is on loan right now, so we cannot reproduce the problem.

Apologies for my ignorance (I'm not an FCP user), but what does the "Aperture" parameter mean?

Just out of curiosity :)

Aperture is a separate Apple program somewhat similar to Photoshop.

Aperture is a parameter that determines how QT player display the picture.
You access the Aperture control in:
Properties (Com-J)> Presentation
If you switch from Classic to Production, in QT Player you won't notice the difference, but in FC certainly you'll do.
Sorry but I can not attach a picture.
Cheers,
Rafael
