NanoFlash & CS5 5.02 & 5.01 project files

Hi,
I realize that the 5.02 update works perfectly with the NanoFlash files. Yes. However, I find previous projects created in 5.01 and opened in the 5.02 update do not sync the audio. Do we need to start over with the project or is there a workaround.
Thanks Roman

Hi Roman,

PPro does conform audio when you import Media Files (i.e. it creates new audio files for you in your audio directory) - you might want to try deleting the conformed audio files for those MXF files that you imported into PPro when running 5.0.1 (only deleted the conformed audio files not your MXF Files)

when you re-open PPro 5.0.2 - PPro then should re-conform the audio for all of those MXF Files - which then should give you perfect audio.....at least in theory :)

I hope that helps.

Cheers,
Greg

Where would I find the Conformd audio files?

Greg, thanks for the reply. Where would I find the conformed Audio files to delete? Thanks again Roman
P.S. What would be the suffix for those files? .mxf or something

Hi,

I think the files are .pek and .mcdb - not sure about the second one though - but those are the files that PPro creates in your Media Cache directory - which you can find by going to the PPro->Preferences->Media.

Consult the Adobe Manual though on the above info.

Cheers,
Greg

Roman, the conformed audio files directory is in Edit/Preferences/Media and is the entry for Media Cache Files.

You can delete all the C-D mxf conform files there (cfa and pek).
