Adobe CS5 & I-Frame

Having exclusively shot the Long GOP. What preset would on use for I-Frame 220 in Adobe CS5. Thanks Roman

Roman, there would be no change that I'm aware of for 220 iFrame - HD422 (or whatever it's called).

Dear Roman,

To a Non-Linear Editor, it makes no difference if you use I-Frame Only or Long-GOP.

I-Frame Only is a Long-GOP sequence (12 or 15 frames), but every frame is an I-Frame.

The editor already knows how to decode I-Frames in a Long-GOP sequence, it just sees more I-Frames and no B or P frames when you select I-Frame Only.

Thus, when you select I-Frame Only, the only part of it that is remotely similar to Long-GOP is that the I-Frames are in groups of 12 of 15, but each is completely independent.

Dan, I am assuming when you say, select I-Frame, the selection you are referring to is on the NanoFlash, and not in Adobe PP CS5?
Correct?
Roman

Dear Roman,

Yes, on the Video|Codec menu item in the nanoFlash you can select I-Frame or Long-GOP.

Our I-Frame means I-Frame Only.
