Dear Robyn,

Yes, here are some more tips.

I would recommend I-Frame Only, 140 Mbps or higher.

I would recommend a 1 second interval, 00:00:01

If you have people in the images, slower intervals make the people jump from place to place.

The resulting time-lapse effect can be adjusted in post.

If you want to playback the images in your nanoFlash, then do not use 280 Mbps if your cards do not support 280 Mbps. But, you might get away with it.

Hi Dan

Ok thanks.. I understand the nano will ONLY record TL in iframe.. will it set itself to iframe automatically if Iam shooting long GOP for ordinary shooting.. or do i have to change it manually in the settings

Why do you recommend 140 Mbps .. for TL... out of interest..

Thanks again

Dear Robin,

Yes, even if you have the nanoFlash set to record in Long-GOP mode, for Time Lapse mode, we force I-Frame Only mode internally.

Background: Let's say that you set the options to record time-lapse, one frame an hour, an extreme example, then one frame will be, most likely, very different from the previous frame.
