Good Workflow using Nanoflash files on a PC
Shifting my production environment from Mac to Windows.
I am at the point now where I need to get the codec workflow sorted. Working in Premiere Pro CS 6 and Resolve 9 (in beta). Do I have to do a rewrap of the nanoFlash files or a transcode? I tried a few things but to no avail. It is important that I be able to move things into Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve. Thanks in advance for any assistance! |
Re: Good Workflow using Nanoflash files on a PC
Dear Andrew,
If you have ".MOV" files, and want ".MXF" files, we have a free utility program for that. This is not a transcode, so no image quality is lost. Please check out our File Converter, available for both PC's and Mac's on this page: Downloads | nanoFlash, nano3D, FlashXDR Premiere Pro CS 6 should work just fine. We use the Sony XDCam 4:2:2 codec as well as the Sony XDCAM EX codec. If you want to edit Quicktime files, (".MOV") I thought that Adobe Premiere Pro would handle this fine. |
