O7Q LTC output not working in 4K2HD?
 

I just sent an email to CD support but wanted to know if anyone else has tested LTC output from the O7Q?

This is what I said:

I previously emailed you about the time code output on the O7Q. My issue was that it doesn't appear that the 7Q outputs timecode in the paused state, only while running / recording.

I presume that behaviour hasn't been improved / fixed yet in this firmware?

Also, in 4K2HD mode, it seems no timecode is output at all from the LTC connection, whether paused or recording. Timecode is output in the prores HD and DPX modes though.

Is that a known issue?

LTC output on set is really good for us as we can log using other devices or even movieslate running on an iPad. Really great software. Would be good to get this functionality working with the O7Q and 4K2HD mode.


So, anyone seen this behaviour?
