importing a set of already edited clips into a comp in AE..

Hi guys, I am very inexperienced in After Effects but I know this is possible..

I have a complex composition with say 70 clips involved. I need to create the same composition with 4 of the clips turned off and then when I move onto my next comp import these same 4 clips.

How do I save these 4 small clips in their edited form (with masks, scaling etc) and import them into a different previously saved composition?

I hope this makes sense..

Thanks
David

Hi David,
Cut and Paste each track to the new comp (AE will copy all the effects, masks, etc too)
I hope I understood your question.
