How did they do this?
I know the long and arduous method, and that is by actually cutting up the photos into 20 or so pieces, parenting the pieces with the pieces of another pic and rotating them in Z while panning a camera, but is there an easier way to do this? Is there a plug-in in Combustion, AE, or Nuke that would make this possible? How did they make the lines move? thanks

Here you go...
Check out the "amazing photo and video display gallery vol 1 " and the "130 super card dance projects & presets " There's probably more on this page to get you even more of what you are asking for... http://www.little-men.com/WEB_GALLERY_LME.html and it can be purchased here... http://toolfarm.stores.yahoo.net/lmeamviphwad.html |
I guess you still have to cut up a photo into 50 or so pieces which is what I was trying avoid

That would take all of 10 seconds to do in Photo Shop...
