Pulldown to Premiere?
 

I'm curious as to whether or not this works:

If I import a Canon HF100 AVCHD mts file into After Effects, and "re-interpret footage" to extract the true 24p stream from the 60i that it piggy-backs on, and then export directly to Premiere Pro, does it keep that effect, or is it lost in the transfer?

The 24pf files are converted in the camera via pulldown and I'm interested in converting them back to their true 24p. After I reinterpret the files, I want to send them directly to Adobe Premiere Pro to work with. I'm just wondering if I do that, will the reverse pulldown remain with the file?

Anyone? I'm not sure if this is working and was wondering if anyone used this technique?

Should work.... in Premier after the footage is ingested look at the properties...
they should indicate 24p... if not then you will have to output from AE and then import
into Premier... just an added step...
