Turning overcast into sunny?
1 Attachment(s)
I need to turn a 2 second shot from overcast into sunshine. Any ideas? I think the key factors in sunny shots are blown-out highlights and shadows. But past that I'm lost. I'm willing to spend a significant amount of time on it. I'll post a screenshot so you all understand what I'm working with.

In your editing software...or After Effects, just use the color correction tools like levels or curves to warm it up a bit, and increase the contrast a little. it won't be perfect as far as the hard shadows, but it should work pretty well. :)

Jason, that looks more like what I'm looking for...unfortunately I don't have that much experience color correcting...can you be more specific with what levels/curves? Thanks.
EDIT: just kidding, I got the look I wanted. Midtones, midtones...thanks. |
