After effects could not create the 386 x 266 image buffer.

( 7:: 66) What does this error message mean? Why do I get this all the time?

What codec were you trying to render to?
Many codecs only support resolution dimensions (pixel count in X & Y) that are multiples of 4. If 386 x 266 doesn't work, try 388x268 or 384x264. |

How much ram do you have? Also, how many applications do you have open?
I got this error, but only when I attempted to work with a 10,000 x 10,000 pixel comp. I have 4 GIGs of ram. |
