Cineform footage problems in AE

Hi im new in HDV. Im importing Cineformīs files into AE and even i do interpret footage (AspectHD aviīs exported from a 1.33/1440x1080 project in premiere) and open a 1440x1080 composition, i get a wrong pixel aspect ratio (ive tried all the possibilities, no way). i only get the right image aspect if i make a 33% x-axis upscale...

And also i have problems to make RAM previews, just a few seconds and is like RAM is finished. is that possible? (i have 2g and i have 70% or RAM usage in preferences)

Please some help!

Wecome to HD compositing -- it uses a lot of memory. AE will only preview with 1.33:1 pixel aspect if you tell it to -- use the view button called "Toggle Pixel Aspect Ratio Correction."

Thanks David, nice little buttom...

any suggestions for the RAM issue? is 2g not enough to composite in HD? would 4g be enough (since i work with XP 32)?

or should i forget compositing till i get XP/Vista 64?

AE can only buffer about 1GB under 32-bit Windows, that is around 5 seonds in 8-bit and 2.5 second is 16-mode for 1440x1080 HD. Try previewing at 50% or smaller.
