Dust Removal?

Howdy gurus,

I've shot a couple of talking head shots and have a large spot of dust in the sky of my SD video footage and have no idea how to remove it.

I use AE, Premiere Pro and Photoshop, can anyone give me advice?

Cheers

Hey Tyler,
Not sure what kind of shot you got, but if its locked off I would use the clone tool in AE. You can clone a section of the sky then paint over the mark. If its a moving or a shaky shot you can add the clone tool to a motion tracker so the clone matches the movement.
cheers

If it is the odd dust spot or two, you can rotoscope in After Effects with the Paint or Clone tool feathered, but for more serious case you might like to use a plug-in like this or that.

You can start by watching this rotoscoping tutorial.
