Los Angeles: 4K short film shown on Sony 4K Projector.

For anyone in the LA area that may be interested.

Starting next Monday, September 10th through Wednesday September 12th, we'll be showing our Short film "Postcards From the Future" at the Landmark theater in West LA.

It was shot on the 4k Dalsa Origin and they are going to project the movie using the 4K Sony Digital projector.

It's only 40 mins long, so our show times are 12:30pm and 1:45pm, Mon-Weds. Tickets only available at the box office.

It was shot digitally with the Dalsa, posted and edited with Adobe CS2 suite and is being projected digitally, so there is absolutely no film grain at all. If you're curious to how that looks please join us next week.

Monday, Sept. 10-Weds, Sept 12. 12:30pm/1:45pm

Just a reminder, these screenings start today.

Those of you thinking about working in 4K may want to see what the end result can look like.

I wish I could make it. It's awesome that you guys could do this; the Dalsa team are super nice and always open to allowing talented filmmakers to use their amazing camera. And seeing that Eric Adkins is your cinematographer is cool. I'm hoping to shoot my next feature film like SKY CAPTAIN.

Good luck!

Heath

Apart from the display resolution of the film, is it a good one? :)
