Time Capsule: Apple's wifi/back-up device

If I were buying an Airport Extreme base station today, I'd go with this instead.

http://www.apple.com/timecapsule/

But it's pricey at $299 for 500 GB and that's just the starting price. However, wirelessly transferring data is very exciting! I'd like to see some external hard drives do that. No more wires!!

Considering the price of a Airport Extreme station seperately, I don't think it's *that* expensive...

I have to agree though: interesting indeed... but curious at the speed of things.

Mathieu,

You're right--an Airpot Extreme base station costs around $179, so $120 more gets me a 500 gb drive. not too shabby!
