Instant Films #011
 

Our eleventh Instant Films festival kicks off tonight, as seven writers toil to produce scripts overnight, then seven directors pick one at random along with a randomly selected cast and somehow turn it all into a finished film within a day and a half.

If you are in the LA area, come see the results this Sunday night at 8 p.m. The screenings are a lot of fun, plus we have some special guests from the sitcom world performing live, and as always there's a great party afterwards and awards ceremony.

The winners of last weekend's Instant Films #011 are up at www.instantfilms.tv, at least in Windows Media at the moment (all films will be up in both WMV and Quicktime shortly thereafter). It was our best show ever; the quality of filmmaking just seems to keep going up. I was unable to direct this time but I am very proud of this crop of filmmakers.
