A Nudge to all Austinites! Wed. 12 May

You're in Austin and you've got nothing better to do next Wednesday. Right? Head on down to Austin Film Works at The Guadalupe Arts Bldg. downtown at 17th & Guad. for a pre-festival social / mixer / discussion from 2pm - 5pm. Yours truly will be there; always looking forward to meeting fellow DV Info Net members at events like this. Pre-festival? Say what? Why, it's "Nudge," a micro-digital film festival, later that same night -- and the next -- up at the Arbor Cinema Arts. Five bucks gets you in for a whole evening of screenings. Check it out at http://www.meticulouspictures.com/af...reeningrm.html. See ya there,

I wish

I keep trying to get you into Austin so I can get you a few beers and get you to spill the beans on the whole XL2 thing...and you have to pick the one day I'll be out of town next week?

Wish I could be there.
Make sure to let us know next time you'll be in town Chris.

First round is on me (and the second...and the third..and)

Back to those aol coasters... a solution.... a new revolutionary idea of what to do with all those aol dvds that come throught the letter box.
1) Simply rip out the paper, throw it in the recycle bin, and keep the box for your own DVD's!
2)The disks themselves, when you have enough tea/coffee coasters, stand them up in your garden at funny angles. Im told that they scatter light round. And when a garden prowling digging cat comes alona at night, and sees the reflection, it runs! So there. Protect your garden too.

Whilt on the subject of DVD cases, anyone else annoyed at how the dvd cover template in nero is just a tiny bit to small for the cases???
