Anyone know about this laptop? It seems like the ultimate dream laptop for video editors and post production people who need dual monitor support on the go! Comments and opinions needed!

A 12 pound laptop? Phew... might as well just carry an extra screen for those times when you need it. Or maybe a second laptop?

First thing is only a dual core processor... not enough for really high end users, who will expect a quad. It's definitley a hefty baby, and I'd be worried about long term durability, but an interesting "proof of concept", no doubt!

Looking at their web site, I'd suspect that the goal is to interest other manufactureres in whatever proprietary technology they've developed - it's "not ready for prime time" yet from those Giz pix, and I don't see the quantity market demand, though I'd certainly like one IF it had enough horsepower under the hood... and the price were right.

I'd think its more a novelty item to wow clients and such. Imagine showing up at a client's office and pulling out this baby to make that killer presentation!

But yeah, interesting concept that should work until they come up with manually stretchable screens ;) Or even 3D holographic projections! There's a thought!
