Rob, as regrettable as arresting teenagers may seem, it's a small price to pay for keeping our families safe. We have GOT to protect our society from zombies! I know this may be an unfashionable thing to say, but recent events demonstrate the very real threat that brain-dead humans pose to public safety, not to mention everyone's health (due to infection from bites, etc).

I feel I should not have to point out that we, here in the United States, know a thing or two about the problems caused to civilization by the proliferation of upright, bipedal, ravenous, non-thinking creatures who lumber through every situation with but one goal: utter and complete destruction of everything we hold dear.

The worst ones, of course, are those in expensive suits and limousines. Especially limousines with flags. Please remember we're doing everything we can to rid the world of zombies. This poor young man has simply paid the price for being on the front lines of this long, grinding culture-war.

It's Us or Them! Give no quarter to the undead. Spare them NO MERCY.

John I have to disagree.

The documentary 'Shawn of the Dead' clearly demonstrated that zombies can be trained to do useful if menial type jobs. There is no reason to kill them outright. In England they've been helpful in filling the type of jobs no one wants anymore. We should be more progressive on this.

btw we need to keep an eye on this and if it turns out this kid is just writing fiction maybe contribute to his defense fund, or at least send email to the local gov about how outrageous this is.

I find it positively shocking that you would ask such a negative question about the Kentucky governor and his wiring. Next you'll be saying he doesn't even know how to conduct himself!

Drifting into Area 51 territory now; although I'm not sure that's where Rob wanted this thread to become. My own take on it is that basically, shouldn't the undead be entitled to the same rights as the rest of us?

Our workplace here in Atlanta is very undiscriminitory and "zombie friendly."

They may have different likes and needs ( ie human flesh), but that doesnt make them bad.

where's the popcorn...

I think Chris should solicit donations from the members in order to buy the movie rights. Could be a great project for the new HDV cams. High Definition rotting flesh just has that certain 'je ne se qua' to it. :-)

Not necessarily. Most "human" rights are reliquished at the point of death. Maybe we could get Paul Tauger to chip in on the legal rights of the walking dead. :)

Lurch was a "Frankenstein's Monster" (as opposed to the incorrect just "Frankenstien") I believe. While technically still in the same reanimated dead family as zombies, I think he would be different.


Anyway, sorry Rob. Is there any way we can save this thread (besides severing the head or destroying the brain?)
