Raw & Digital Imaging Workshops at AbelCine
 

AbelCine is offering several workshops this Fall that DVInfo members should find interesting. With the latest cameras offering Log and Raw recording modes, complex workflows, and the need for on-set look management, we have decided to make workshops that address these new tools.

Next weekend Geoff Boyle, Cinematographer, and founder of the CML will join us to host the Raw Workshop. This workshop focuses on the latest Raw camera, how to work with them, and post procedures. The class combines some light theory with hands-on shooting time and posts procedures. It's a two day workshop and we will have the F65, Red Epic, Canon C500, and possibly the BlackMagic Cinema Camera on hand. Convergent Design and Codex will be there as well to show their recorders in conjugation with these cameras. We are also offering a Digital Imagine Class Series, which is a series of evening classes on topics like Waveforms and Vectorscopes, Understanding Color, Exposing for Log, LUT Creation and Management, and On Set Media Management.
