If they have the production lines ready, BMD will be game changers in the industry! Clearly they will sell as fast as they are produced! We probably won't see these cameras until 2014. Current models will be on the resale market soon at a reduced price. Ebay prices on the 2.5K model should fall to suggested retail ($2995). They may have something up their sleeves. What if they are available within the next two or three months? Are you in? Will you convert?

Hmm. Interesting. Is it just me, or doesn't the Pocket Cinema Camera look an awful lot like a Sony NEX-5 digital camera? The NEX-5 has the ability to capture video. If this isn't a coincidence, then I can't help but wonder if Black Magic are selling rebadged, restyled Sony NEX-5's.

Does "Now" mean April 2013. Or, "Right now we have printed literature that says we'll totally have an update in 6months that'll tell you that we're changing everything & will have a future update in another 6 months & 6 months after that we'll have a delivery date in 6 months that'll get pushed back 6 months" ?
