Ikegami & Arri broadcast camera

Ikegami & Arri have combined to produce a large sensor broadcast camera. It's intended for multi camera productions where 2/3" cameras are being used, but this gives the option of a large sensor look.

Re: Ikegami & Arri broadcast camera

Looks very nice and wish I could afford one as I like the ENG form factor.

Re: Ikegami & Arri broadcast camera

I really see this being appealing, as mentioned in the video, for TV shows. Sitcoms & soap operas are studio based & networks probably don't want to reinvent the wheel just to have the large S35 chip.

This looks like a great marriage between a large chip & a broadcast style camera.

I wish I could've played with one at NAB as I'm guessing the camera, lens & pedestal cost more than my house.
