Sachtler / Vinten release innovative new tripod "Flowtech 75"

After (what felt like) dozens of e-mails hyping this new product, Vitec (parent company of Sachtler / Vinten) has released a new tripod that has a number of new features:

Biggest things I like about it is the ability to be with or without a mid-level spreader; magnets to hold legs together in transport; quick levers & 3/8" threads on the tripod for accessories.

I was personally hoping for something that utilized the O'Connor 35L style of locks where you could lock / unlock all three legs at the same time, but I'm sure that would've upped the price.

This is only 75mm bowl, but they seem to be working on a 100mm bowl version.

I do need to replace my Bogen 503 which can't keep it's smoothness.

Cartoni evidently has something similar

I like the Sachtler better but I'm concerned about the longevity - look a bit flimsy to me

Flowtech 75 has a number of features. I'm a little worried about things breaking too, as there HAVE to be more parts hiding inside the legs to get the locks to remain at the top while having both leg sections drop out.

That Cartoni looks really cool, it's a little more similar to the Sachtler Speedlock tripods that have been out for ages, but I like the "vertical" locks on the Cartoni (vs horizontal locks on Sachtler's Speedlock).

I'm now interested in the Focus 8 too, need to read up on that.
