Awards for your HDV short, music video, commercial

Got a great movie shot with your HDV camera?

Submit it to www.HDVawards.org - and end this year with a bang :)

Categories include:

- Short films
- Music Videos
- Commercials (including spec commercials)

(Disclosure: my company organizes this HDV Festival. But I hope it actually is a *good* thing :) )

Chris, is there a good way to promote it to all the HDV community here? The deadline for submissions is almost up, and I'm sure many filmmakers would like to submit their movies. Thanks in advance!

Moved to Industry News... unless you think DV Info Net Announcements might be better.

Thanks Chris. I have no idea what'll work better - never promoted anything here before :)

BTW, I've just returned from Dallas where my HD video of cosmetic dentistry cases received a standing ovation from the professionals. Of course, mostly because of the content - but also because they've never seen such sharp, clear imagery on a large screen before. I've been approached by quite a few very enthused people right after the presentation.

I notice you're from TX, just wanted to say I liked people in Dallas (except when they're driving in traffic ;) - but I personally did not have to drive a car there.)

Alex, which camera did you use?

Dale, I used Sony FX1. Great camera.
