HD-DVD movie release date April
 

Warner will release 20 HD-DVD movies instead of 24 as announced previously.

Warner's research into the format has shown that High-Definition packages could catch on faster then DVD's with the consumers, regardless of the High-Def format.

Release date for Hd-DVD titles by Warner is set for April 18, from March 28.

Toshiba to delay HD-DVD players
 

Toshiba announced today, that they will hold off on releasing the players till April 18.

Toshiba is planning to launch the players with the release of HD-DVD's. This has some industry analysts thinking on the product launch which will give less time to the player to reach the customer's before the launch of the Blu-Ray players in May.
